Stainless Steel Rings

These circular formers are made from high quality 3mm thick Stainless Steel so they will stand up to the high temperatures of fusing and give you years of use without warping or going out of shape.

They are available in 3 different sizes and have been designed to accomodate the 3 sizes of Bullseye Pre-Cut Tekta circles that we sell.

The ring needs to be lined with fibre paper to stop the glass sticking to it. We recommend using the Bullseye 1.6mm thick fibre paper. Make sure the paper fits tightly in the ring with no gaps. Ideally you want to cut your fibre paper so that it is slightly shorter in height than your glass will be once it is fused, this will give it a nice rounded edge and reduce the need for so much cold working. You can also spray the fibre paper with Boron Nitride which helps prevent spiking.

The rings are perfect for doing projects such as Pot Melts, Pattern Bars, Strip Construction, Combing and using as dams for any projects that are thicker than 6mm.
