Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye compatible sheet glass. Frits are very versatile and can be used in Pate de verre and kilncasting, kilnforming, torchworking and blowing. The colour of the frit in its unfired and fired states may differ greatly.
This glass is like white opal but more reactive. In particular when used with French Vanilla (0137) it causes a grey reaction.
Important: Firing this glass above 815°c (1500°F) for more than 15 minutes or firing slowly between 677°c and 815°c (1250°F and 1500°F) may result in an unstable glass.
The 50g frit is supplied in a clear grip seal bag.
The 450g frit can be supplied in a clear grip seal refill bag or a clear plastic jar.
